Delfino Family Business in Beautiful Apple Hill

Famous for our crust and the only place you can get a "Walkin' Pie". You've got to see our mile high Farmhouse Pie weighing in at over 5 pounds. Another favorite is the French Apple Pie with sliced apples simmered to perfection and mildly spiced with cinnamon. In September, we have a wonderful Blackberry Sourcream Pie with a butter crumb topping, and in November we have our creamy Pumpkin Pie. This year we're adding pumpkin pie to our frozen pie list. Pick up yours when you visit and it will be a great addition to your Thanksgiving celebration.
A new favorite is the Apple Cheesecake with a walnut crumb crust. Apple Strudel
is available but by special order only, so call ahead giving us 48 hours advance

All our pumpkins, Indian Corn, and Gourds are grown right here at Kids, Inc. It's a long wonderful story, but to make it short... not the "Kids, but the kids of the "Kids" grow the pumpkins. There are sixteen Delfino grandchildren and with the supervision of Uncle Chris, they plant, weed, pick, and sell all of our pumpkins! They split the money and save for college. Come visit them. True farmers--ask them questions, they'll surprise you.
If your looking for gifts, stop by Nanny's Gift Shop It's the little building with the porch and the checkerboard floor. You wouldn't believe that the building used to be an old mining shack. Nanny and Papa Delfino bought it for $35 a "few" years ago, brought it home on a trailer, it fell off the trailer and that's how the location for the shack was chosen. Who knew someday it would become the Kids, Inc. Gift Shop. Pick up a Kids, Inc. T-shirt and our favorite individual apple peeler (we tested many) while supplies last.
Christmas Trees will be available the day after Thanksgiving, that Saturday and Sunday only. Find and cut your own tree on Pop Delfino's 20 acres located 2 miles past Kids, Inc. on the right. We have Silver Tip, White Fir, Douglas Fir, and Scotch Pine. After you cut your tree, come back to enjoy a FREE Walkin" Pie at the Pie Shop!
