Coinciding with Johnny Appleseed's Birthday Bash at Apple Hill. We've been inviting all Kids to visit us on annual Kids' Day for years! As in the past, we'll start our scarecrow making contest; gunny sack races; walkin' pie eating contest; a mini cooking school; and Kids get a free caramel apple if they wear their Kids, Inc. T-shirt on Kids Day. This year, as in the past, we're featuring music by "Farm Fresh" a youth bluegrass band. Farm Fresh Music's MySpace page

Always the Last weekend in April
During the Annual Apple Hill Grower Association Apple Blossom Festival, Kids Inc pays tribute to one of the most giving women in our community. At the time of her death, she was actively involved in 16 non-profit organizations. She was a mother, a friend, a hostess, an author of children's books and a positive, warm-hearted person who greeted everyone with a smile and kind words.
Kids Inc celebrates her life with a weekend of family fun including Barsotti children's book readings, baby chick holding, hobo lunches, and a mini-cooking school, and suggested bike routes for adults. Come join us! Joan Barsotti Scholarship Fund BBQ.
